>>
>>61298732
Nah, still not
>>
Of course not

Even the pandering cynics who led the Leave campaign are shocked. They were only pretending to be retarded
>>
>>61298732
If your idea of a good outcome is the dismantlement of your own country, an economic recession, a government change and an exodus of financial institutions in exchange for "freedom", then I suppose so, yeah.

>mfw Scotland will gain independence and subsequently enjoy free trade with Europe long before England is ever re-admitted
>>
dunno but that was very friendly to retards
>>
>>61299049
The country is and will not be dismantled, economic recessions are normal occurences that happen in every economy in the world and it will recover, and they now have broader market availability now that they can make their own trade deals with whoever they want outside the EU.

You need to stop riding the big fat merkel dick.

>>

>The country is and will not be dismantled
Chances are it will. SNP has called for a new referendum. The political situation will only continue to destabilize with the elections in October.

>economic recessions are normal occurences that happen in every economy in the world and it will recover
The Pound is officially useless, France has just overtaken them as the world's 5th largest economy and there are elections on the way. Very little in the way of stability.

>and they now have broader market availability now that they can make their own trade deals with whoever they want outside the EU
You do know that's going to take a LONG time, right? Not even considering the proposed trade deal with the EFTA and the EU itself, Britain is going to have to wait no matter what. Not exactly ideal for British exports.

Who said anything about Merkel? I don't like her, either.

>As ministers in France push for Britain’s swift exit from the EU after the Brexit vote, ordinary French people have taken to social media to say “good riddance” to the English.

>“When I see the s**t the English have landed themselves in by voting out… I’m laughing,” wrote Sebastien Coicaud on Twitter.

>And journalist Christopher Nunès wrote: “I’ve always had a low opinion of the English. A nation that can’t behead its Queen is not to be trusted!”

>French foreign minister Jean-Marc Ayrault called for talks on Brexit to take place immediately, echoing demands from other EU leaders to negotiate Britain’s exit from the bloc as soon as possible.

>Jean Quatremer, Libération’s Europe correspondent, in a column thanked his English and Welsh friends “from the bottom of my heart” for their decision to leave the EU.

I honestly believe we have an entitled, rich elite that have massively deformed our economic systems. They defend their institutionalized privilege in many different names; capitalism, equality, innovation, globalization, and tolerance. Which is not to say that the garb they wear, the names they use, are bad in-so-much as their original intent was meant. But they are just this, garbs. Clothing by which to justify their own privilege. I applaud Brexit. I think even this is built on many unsavory things. One can't deny the racism or hatred underlying a lot of the revolt going on in the world. But from the strength of the proletariat may society be rebuilt on a truer ground. Death to institutionalized elitism. Death to bureaucracy. Death to the world order.

Some countries like Germany and the EU organisation want:
Immigration to decrease the market power of the persons on job and housing markets

Other countries like Poland want:
Subsidies

"""free""" movement of workers within the area EU/EEA/Switzerland is OK for Poland. But the illegal asylum shoppers aren't welcome in Poland. Poland never wanted to devastate the persons living in Poland with immigration. That's only something that the EU and some countries like Germany want.

The EU will never change. Its absolute main goal is decreasing the value of the individual using immigration. Poor countries were asked to join because they should become part of the freedom of movement of workers. The subsidies probably made it more interesting for the poor countries to join.

Because the EU will never change it's good to leave it.

I never quite understood how the British equaled migrants with EU. Yes, if you are living on mainland europe sure, the EU fucked us over. So here's a question to you young remlads salty because of the vote. Why not leave?

Form up a group that will as a whole relinquish your British citizenship and emigrate to the EU. If the numbers are big enough and the applicants are good enough that might catch EU's attention. For our American friends, this is the equivalent of both Texas and New York seceding economically. As well as losing one of the two powerful and nuclear armies. Not to mention that the various member states will want to trade with the UK and many leave the EU if the comission overrules them
>>
>>61299773
All bullshit.

Sturgeon would take any opportunity to push for a new referendum, but Scots have already been polled on whether they would leave the UK in the case of Brexit. No, they said. And that's before hearing from Spain/Belgium that their membership in the EU would be vetoed anyway - wow, look at that unity, Scotland. Their economic situation would also make them ineligible, they would most likely need to adopt the euro, and the cornerstone of their economy has fallen through the floor. It's extremely unlikely that Scotland votes for independence, and if it does, it will be to the benefit of England.

Pound had a shock. Expected.

Friends in the commonwealth have already expressed desire to get trade deals established quickly. This is a GOOD rebalancing for the UK. The EU is a declining market for us, anyway, and the euro will return to crisis before long.

Oh come on, every time there's a vote on anything, everyone on the losing side swears they're packing their shit the next day. But it never happens, ever. Britain ignored its poors re: economic policyand then had the nerve to tell them to sod it when they couldn't afford to pay rent. All they understand of the EU is that global free markets never seem to work for them.

I'm not a Euro, but I really don't think the leavers had that much of an issue with the EU as a project; it seems to me it was less about immigration and more about London and Brussels not giving a shit what they think

A very broad mix of both, along with other things. Don't believe the people who are playing it up as all about immigration, it's their chance to label all the people who voted to leave as racists and xenophobes.

The original uniting of the kingdoms? Terrible idea; England had no right to domain over Wales, Scotland, or Ireland, and all of those countries should have been left alone to govern themselves.

Leaving the EU? Will be a great idea in the long run because they won't have to answer to authorities outside of their border. EU should have stopped at the trade agreement.

No.
They had the best EU deals of anyone in the union, and they threw it away.
There's a recession that will likely last years.
They've lost influence in markets they need to trade with anyway.
They may lose Scotland.

It won't destroy the country, but it's in a weaker position. There's some upside of course (less EU bureaucracy, fewer refugees) but it wasn't worth the cost.
>>
>>61317291
UK wasn't here at the beginning, they came after the death of De Gaulle who didn't want them in. When Tchatchter came she ask to Mitterand to renegociate the amount of Money UK paid to Europe as "It costs too much for my country", after negociations it was accepted and all countries in the EU were puting a small part while France assume most of it.
I think this is mostly why (at least here in France) EU feel disgusted...

But hey they wanted to left, so they will. And it doesn't mean the ned of trade, Norway and Switzerland aren't EU and they are paying a price to to have schengen and stuff...

I think it will also depend on what UK want to keep, also my question is what about the politcal opportunities it create for England? I mean is it plausible that the next prime minister can tart a campaign with "Please take us back"? Because it seems the results were pretty narrow.
>>
>>61317322
Sorry that's a bit wrong of me. The Eurozone is the slowest growing economic area as a whole, and has huge unemployment rates. But Europe as a whole, just manages to edge out the CIS, the region closest to Europe with European member states.

And now the fastest growing West European country has left the EU.

Economically, the move makes sense.

EU is a dying project right now. It needs radical reform, but it wasn't willing to consider even the most meager of reforms even with the most serious existential threat it has ever faced. Juncker is completely out of sync with reality, as are the premiers of the nation states.

When 40% of people want less integration, 30% want it to remain the same, and less than 20% want more integration, pushing for more integration is a recipe for nationalist uprisings. Happening throughout the continent, and Merkel's unilateral decision to bring in millions of migrants has only accelerated the process.

They've been given their wake up call: on it's current path, it's not sustainable. It will self destruct. Radical reform is needed.
