They are known for growing potatoes and not much else.
The movie "Napoleon Dynamite" was set there. It depicts a pretty white-bread, King Of The Hill type-life.
I think it's pretty quiet, peaceful, and boring. I literally flew over it once but I've never been.
The college football field is famous for being blue, and not green. The local colors are blue and orange. A modern artist named Matthew Barney used to play on their football team, and he later shot an art movie of dancers in the stadium.
very white, low crime, lots of farming, good for outdoorsy stuff (hunting, fishing, hiking, etc.)

Currently on a trip visiting Boise/Sun Valley for the first time.
Very scenic. Nice mountains. Would visit again.
Not sure if I would want to live here though.

Can you even live in a worse climate?
There is just one county that borders Canada. In that county, there is a tiny town called "Good Grief".

North Idaho is better, if you're fine with it being colder.

Idaho's an alright state, but literally nothing happens there. Fairly white, very conservative, very few people.
>>61290652
Looks top comfy. Is there a lot of people? I really hate people, I don't want to see them at all
>>61293744
Is one of the least dense and least populated states, also very conservative, peaceful, has a lot of beatiful nature and is very white. Seems very comfy to me.

The biggest city in Idaho, Boise, has a population of ~200,000. Not a populous state.
Potatoes, Potatoes everywhere....

Nope, there are a few medium sized cities but the majority of Idaho are small towns and wilderness.
I grew up in idaho and it fucking sucks unless you are a retiring hippie. The cost of living is incredibly low which attracts a lot of older people. There is no youth culture unless you are a mormon and all of the interesting/who can afford it people leave the state as soon as they have the chance. Northern Idaho and Sun Valley are beautiful places though.
