The ruhr area has a high population density. The former GDR states tend to have a lower population. For sure nothing comparable to Finland.
For Iceland it's pretty extreme 120 000 out of 343 000 in one city.
back in the 40s-50s there was a mouvement called "independance of laurentia" because most people lived on the saint-lawrence river.
