For the past few years they've been sending people here to learn. You can see some of the new roads if you take the road from Šiauliai to Riga. It's still shit, the asphalt is barely a couple years old and there already ruts, but it's a lot better than it used to be. They're probably not laying down foundations thick enough. I drove on it a few times as it was being fixed and it sure looked that way. In contrast, there's now a part of the Klaipėda-Šiauliai road being fixed and the layer of asphalt itself is about 40-50cm deep, not to mention proper foundations.

Yeah, kind of. I'm staying at Lagos, a small town. It has pretty beaches and stuff, but packed with tourists(mostly brits, gonna ask some of them about what they think of brexit today when i'm drinking) and also the coldness of the water bothers me really, when I was in french riviera, near nice, the water was like 24 degrees. So thats what i'm kind of expecting. But besides that, the place itself is quite pretty and tidy, like any western euro country I guess. But yeah just the sun already is making the trip great, Estonian summers suck dick.

Atlantic ocean, first day it was lie 17c, colder than in Estonia. Also as im on my drunken babbling phase - I witnessed a storm on atlantic, on the beach you couldn't tell, besides the waves which were like 2m. In Estonia you get such waves sometimes too, but the difference was that if you went in water over your belt length the water would most likely grab you with it and send you the the open sea, so that was kind of scary. I went to the depth to my knees, and when the waves came the water rose to my belt area and when the wave came back it felt almost that you were going to loose your grip with the sand any moment. At the same time pretty adrenaline giving experience
