Can't speak for all of you, but I would prefer to have a tiny smidge of influence in Brussels over none at all in Stockholm or Copenhagen. The Danes and Swedes, no matter how friendly they are, simply do not understand us. And Norway will once again happily let them abuse their powers. Our ancestors fought to make sure royalist influence, and what ultimately results from it, at a minimum. The Danes and Swedes threatened to invade at any point if there was as much as a sign of a Norwegian republic.
With Britain now gone, royalist influence in the EU is finally dying. We now have a fairer chance of working with the republican fraternity in Europe, and perhaps one day finally rid ourselves of the despots.
