China is probably the only country in the world with exponentially growing salaries. Their salaries in period 2004-2015 grew 3x, while Polish salaries only 2x. Incredible.

I heard that the secret of their success is one simple tactic: they invited foreign companies to their country back in 70s but told them that they can only produce in China and export abroad, but they can't sell their products on Chinese market. Thanks to this trick Chineses began to copy Western technologies and establishing domestic companies producing copies of Western products and flood domestic market with them. It gave huge impulse to growth of business independent from Western capital.

Such countries like Poland let Western companies sell their products on Polish market, that's why we are fucked with turtle-growing salaries now, and without a chance to catch up the West.

China is ruled by visionaries thinking in long term categories. Poland is ruled by village idiots, hence we are doomed to be a beggar of Europe

Brazil does something similar. But we allow companies to sell their stuff here, except we tax their stuff so hard, they become the most expensive products on planet earth, so Brazilian companies can sell their shit-tier quality products at a decent price to guarantee profits.

So looks like you are double-fucked

This tactics doesn't work in Brazil somehow

China will break this trap, Poland won't. Our government makes huge investment funds to support high income jobs in high tech sector, but it wont work just like any government plan. We are fucked here, while China will be easily catching up West

There is a mountain of evidence saying you're wrong.

Brazil doesn't even know what it talks about.

A country in the middle income trap will have lost their competitive edge in the exportation of manufactured goods because their wages are on a rising trend. However, they are unable to keep up with economically more developed economies in the high-value-added market. As a result, newly industrialised economies such as South Africa and Brazil have not, for decades, left what the World Bank defines as the 'middle-income range' since their per capita gross national product has remained between $10,000 to $12,000 at constant (2011) prices.[1] They suffer from low investment, slow growth in the secondary industry, limited industrial diversification and poor labor market conditions.[2]

chinks have some experience with planning shit a thousand years ahead

Their best opportunity to break out has already passed and they keep instituting policies that are the opposite of what you would do to try and break into higher incomes.
>>
>>61109869
The only solution is to leave the EU and create a nationalist protectionist regime. Then you need a strongman like Pilsudski in charge so you can break the middle income trap through sheer force of will.
Godspeed Poland and don't forget to build a wall at our border so we won't have to look at the shitstain next to us
>>
>>61109933
Yeah, keep trolling. The only way to avoid middle income trap is to create a lot of high income jobs making products/services that are competetive in the global market. But it must be made in circumstances of free market, not XIX century isolationism.
>>
>>61109869
i don't think chinks will break the trap but i think poland can break it
>>
>>61109945
No, that's not how you do it. It's easily to create shit for which there is no inherent demand or support structure for. It just ends up collapsing in on itself. Pretty much summarizes how China operates economically.

Fun fact: China's debt ratio has already surpassed that of USA.

What would happen if every country would do it?
