At a friend's house I've sat through lectures on why my race is responsible for their family's personal unhappiness, even though I don't know them that well nor have any knowledge of an ancestor of mine visiting India. Such aggressive and racist behavior is encouraged by the government and establishment media of my country, who both act in tandem to deny my demographic jobs and opportunities while insulting us at every opportunity. Even the president of my country has told me that I am not allowed to make the same jokes that he does, because he is better and less white than I am.

I have seen a lot of racism from other spics towards black people though, mostly in high school. It was mostly banter and off handed comments, but sometimes they took it too far. I've recently grown a beard and my family and some of my spic friends keep making terrorist jokes, but I don't really view that as racism. My white friends don't ever make jokes about race, unless it's about themselves.
