I had both.
Both are very lovable in their own way. Although dogs can be pretty shit like the case with pitbulls, bulldogs, chihuahuas, etc which are absolutely disgusting.
Cats are 100% cute except maybe siamese and sphynx but those are sand of another bag.
I am glad I live in a place where pit bulls are banned
