1) you're making a mistake
2) if we have laws on immigration, they're not enforced. maybe some documentation has to be presented at the airport (assuming you come here flying). as soon as you step outside the airport you could very well start living your new life without worrying about your immigrant status. however if you do want to become a national, all you have to do is live for a while, 2 years I think, and apply ("apply", even though it will never be rejected) for citizenship. they won't even ask if you have a job
3) objectively the best city is buenos aires. the people are shit and climate is torturing but it's the best place for an immigrant to get a job. the problem with the south (where most argies will tell you to go) is finding a job unless you have experience in hotels/turism and are fluent in engglish
4) you're making a terrible mistake
5) people don't kill each other for nothing like in africa or central america, but it's the third world still and chances are you're getting mugged at least once in your lifetime
6) internet is a non issue and proves you are not really considering moving here
7) if you do end up living here, be sure to tell me where you are so I can go and punch you in the face really hard

I studied there for a hot minute and it was pretty great desu. First off, you NEED to speak Spanish, dont expect many people to speak English, I lived in Buenos Aires and it was pretty great, i lived in the nicest part of town and it was very safe, two muggers tried to rob me once but my phone was so bad they didnt want it and i scared them off. The wages are lower but so is the ost of living, if you have a good enough education you should be able to survive there well enough. Best city for an expat might be Buenos Aires because thats where the most expats are, or maybe a small southern city in patagonia. Internet is alright, nothing amazing. There are a lot of expats from the USA living in buenos aires. The other big cities like Mendoza Cordoba or Rosario are pretty nice but out in the campo it is literally third world africa tier so dont bother living there. As a Finn you might be able to do well in patagonia considering you would be used to the cold and there are good job opportunities there. Good luck m8 i hope you do go there

Universities are free in Argentina but if you dont speak Spanish you wouldnt be able to get in, im sure there are plenty of courses for learning spanish, i know for a fact there are alsses at the Ortega y Gasset cultural center so im assuming there are more. Another thing i forgot to mention is that the Spanish in Argentina is very different than any other country, lots of italian influence, so be prepared to be confused even if you speak some Spanish

Buenos Aires is by far the favorite choice for expats, there's some areas (such as some parts of Palermo) where expats are even the majority.

If you have common sense and don't go around using expensive stuff while in public, yes. This also varies depending on the area and the time of the day (Northern Buenos Aires is generally pretty safe, whereas southern Buenos Aires is considered more dangerous)

If you live alone yes, although it depends on what are your hobbies, how often you're planning to go out during the weekends, etc.

There are a lot of Americans in your position (expats who don't know spanish pretty well) who get a job teaching english while they're still learning spanish in Buenos Aires, but I don't think you could do the same, since there's probably little to no interest in learning Finnish here.

Restaurants are overall pretty expensive, so a night out can cost around 15-30 USD per person depending on which restaurant or places you go to. If by "drug use" you mean weed, it costs like 7-15 usd per gram (tourists usually have to pay 20-25 usd though)

Indeed, when you have money here, even if you are a simple middle class person, you can live pretty well without bigger problems. BUT, it's not the ideal life we should convive.
I will give me as an exemple. I'm an upper middle class person, I live like much better than the vast majority of the country. But even with this, I still have to convive with problems that I shouldn't convive in the current economical situation: need to be always alert when walking alone and never take out the cellphone/wallet in the streets if don't want to get robbed by a crackhead, avoid to pass in some of the many poor or dangerous zones (a.k.a. slums), avoid walking in less busy streets at night, need to spend a good amount of the salary in healthcare and education because the public institutions in the country are utter shit, waste money in taxes that don't return in benefits (corruption), face the high inflation in pratically everything you think, pay astronomical prices in foreign companies products (such as smartphones, videogames, cars...), pay a lot for a service of low quality, fucking high prices of the apartments/houses in a safe/good/prime areas, etc, etc, etc...
As you can see, even with money you see the difficulty in live well that you wouldn't had if living with the same amount of money in a 1st world country. That's why is a crazy idea leave Europe to South America. There's no way to escape from the 3rd world problems, you really will face them.
