i love different perspective maps. helps you to see the way other peoples and countries throughout history (and nowadays too) saw the world. if you zoom in on the mediterranean sea in this map you can get a much better idea of how the romans saw the world, they literally thought they were in the centre of it

It felt slightly disturbing at first when I came to /int/ where most posters are northern hemisphere, and every map has the north pointing up instead of down, but I'm past that
