How much milk do you and the people in your country drink a day?
4-5 cups a day. Most people grab at least 1 cup from timmies if they commute each day.
None because I'm a nigger and am lactose intolerant. Most people I know drink a glass or two a day though

Coffee here in general is concentrated, so most people drink small "cups" instead. It's quite common also mixing it with milk.

Then it's probably intended to be drunk as in the picture (cimarrón/chimarrão proper), not brewed... the one used for tea is quite brown.
About sugar: most people here consider sugar in chimarrão a blasphemy, and I find it masks a bit the taste. But to be honest this is up to personal tastes, so it's more like "try it and see if you like it with no sugar, otherwise keep adding sugar as usual".

i drink it without sugar when i'm out of sugar, it's alright, i guess it's an acquired taste
i'm in it for the sweet hot beverage and caffeine/other content
doesn't make my stomach feel weird or make me overstimulated like coffee does
