'Macedonians' claim to be the descendants of the ancient Macedonians, when in fact the descendants of the ancient Macedonians are in the country of Greece. They do not even speak a descendant of Ancient Macedonian, they just speak a Slavic language.
Greeks actually ARE Greeks. The descendants of the Ancient Greeks, and speak the modern form of Greek, directly from Ancient Greek.
