South Brazil has quite a few places above sea level so it's more likely to snow.
Here in the Pampas even though we are more southern and therefore generally colder it's mostly a plain so snow is pretty rare.
These days have been pretty cold though and around 5C - 0C so it has almost snowed in some places.
