Why are there so many 'stans in Central Asia?
Why are they so unoriginal?
>Thailand
> mfw he's a -land country
Russia created those nations, they were uncreative. They actually try to change their names due to that reason.
>-land
came to the thread to post this >>60850333
nice triples btw
>>60850310
Because -stan means "land of". Same sorta thing as England and Ireland.
>>60850310
-istan means the land where x group lives. which is why those countries have that suffix
Kazakhstan is going to change its name to Kazakeli which means basically the same thing
Turkiye is also Turk-iye, -iye means belonging, so it means "land that belongs to turks"

Just -stan.
Just like Slavic 'stati', Germanic 'stand(en)', Latin 'stare'.
Central Asians are our blood brothers, just like the Kurds and Armenians are. I'm sad to see Kazakhstan change their name to some random steppeshit language.
Why don't them have unified visa policy like Schengen area?
>>60850905
They use to
>>60850613
why is it sad that they're changing it to their own language? that sounds really retarded of you desu
