there's a massive park in the middle of london near where I am, untouched piece of countryside, hilly and foresty and shit, you would never know you were in a city, and it has a nice view of the skyline

I actually live in Hackney it's one of the best areas of London. A large part of this borough is gentrified and wealthy as fuck. The improvement in like 10 years has been incredible.

Tivoli segues into Rožnik hill, which is a protected nature area and is also surrounded by the city. We have several other parks, but they're pocket sized as befits a city of 270.000.

Hard to get any pics at all of Slovenia outside of the tourist traps that aren't thumbnails or ineptly shot like the last one. This one of Rožnik's summit is a beauty tho.
