It's about not being a hypocrite and supporting same rights. You don't have to like something to support their legal rights.

I know, but look at it this way: When you stand up for just about anything, people will automatically assume that you have some kind of affinity or at least sympathy for that group. So if you support someone's right to fuck their sister then it has moral implications. Basically social pressure will always stop people from supporting causes like that.
