I thought New Hampshire would be still French? Last time I was in there in 2012 I heard two guys in a hardware store talking in French but I didn't see any beaners.

Aside from Quebec and Brazil, everyone in the western hemisphere speaks English or Spanish. I'm not sure why this would surprise anyone. The third most spoken languages are more surprising.
