We like to make fun of Canada, but honestly, it's the best Anglo country after New Zealand. Trudeau says some silly things, but when I went to Canada a few months ago there was literally no difference from the last time I went there in 2011.
I followed the last Canadian election and as divided as it was I never saw a true shitstorm like we have every four years. It was actually... kind of normal and civilized.
The US and the UK are going down the shitter fast. I'd rather live in an irrelevant country and not worry about getting killed or becoming a political prisoner.
