Every country has its beautiful scenery though, so it's all good.
>>60688039
You know the worst ? I am beginning to actually like those towers.
>>60688241
My family owns about two-hundred acres on one of the mountains. I was going to go hiking up there today but I'd rather get drunk and post on /int/ while watching Chopped.
Such is life.
It's all fucking mounts and mountains here.
>>60688170
If you like cities in the mountain Annecy is prettier + dope lake
Feels good not to be Swedish.
>>60688259
That's I thought, thanks
>>60688446
Annecy centre is always way too crowded. Narrow streets and retarded tourists.
The Basque must be hardcore as fuck to live around these things.
Northern Spain
>>60688241

Cities and towns are only good for photos. Villages is where it's at.

>>60689172
Good.
>>60689057
Not really, well we have animals that can be considered dangerous like wolves pic related but they only attack cattle, I don't think I've ever heard of someone being attacked by a wolves, even if in places with low population density they sometimes venture near humans, video related https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjJOeCbp5Hg
Otherwise there are brown bears in the Pyrenees but so few they aren't a threat either.
The most dangerous where I live is the boar, I've seen some several times while working in vineyards, they can charge for no fucking reason. Sometimes you hear about one who went to a village and ravaged a shop, but again casualties are pretty low if not inexistant
it doesn't mean our wildlife is poor tho, we have quite a lot of animals for Western Europe outside of the ones I mentionnend, but they aren't dangerous
Also some snakes and scorpions but not deadly ones

Better than what we deal with.
Some assholes basically let their pig farms get out of hand and the result is an epidemic problem in the southern US. Luckily the winters are too harsh in my state for the fuckers to survive.
It's freaky what happens to a pig even a year outside of domestication.
my country is a mountain range
>>60685631
If you country doesn't have martian-like mountains, it's pretty much a non-country.

I have relatives in the eastern part of my state. When I go to visit them it freaks me the fuck out because there are no mountains. I'm so relieved when I cross into the Rockies. The eastern part of our state is ugly as fuuuuuuuuuck.
>>60690056
Well I know exactly where that is.
The tallest mountain burgercucks have is their debt though.

This is mine but I hate camping. I've never been good with sleeping on the ground. A day trip sure but I've hated staying overnight every time. I feel like a bit of a traitor seeing as I post on /out/ all the time.
>>60689877
I honestly feel bad for people who live far away from mountains.
Also, nice dubs.
>>60690684
How about taking an inflatable mattress
>>60690785
Pretty!!
>>60686683
I was there a couple of weeks ago. Let's go back together.
>>60690785
I want to go hiking in the Slovenian Alps.
>>60690785
Well I live in the coast halfay between the Pyrenees and the Alps but I have smaller mountains nearby, they are around 1000-1200m high up to 1600m so it's not alpine at all but they great anyway pic related
>>60689597
Check, NASA and ESA have used Svalbard's mountains to simulate the surface of Mars for years.
>>60691021
>>60690795
Twin inflatables are heavier than one might think and they're a pain in the ass to trek into the wilderness with. Especially when you need a battery compressor to inflate them.
>>60691175
>need a battery compressor to inflate them
>>60691221
Even so the mattresses are heavy as fuck. Once you're about eight miles in and you realize you have about four more to go you wish you didn't bring that shit.
>>60691330
If you can walk twelve miles for a trip, you can sleep on a bedroll...
http://www.magasinet.no/friluftsutstyr/feltseng-underlag/liggeunderlag-madrass
just get something like these. A lot of them are inflatable AND light. Choose whether you wanna complain about the ground not being comfortable, or about you not being prepared. Don't do both.
>>60691466
I used to be a distance runner so that endurance stuff doesn't bother me. I'm just a bitch about sleeping conditions. As far as I know we don't make anything like that in the US. Thanks, I'll look into it.

Same goes for Patagonia, but they're more clothing-focused.
>northern sweden used to be populated by finns before the swedish state expanded
