Like there's another way to make water be hot.
>>
Oh no, we heat up water molecules by vibration from microwaves, the world will end.

We don't even do this and nobody cares

I started heating water in a microwave after I've read that americans do it that way. A cup warms up for 3 minutes while a full kettle requires 7 minutes.
>>
>>60647566
I do that too, there's nothing wrong
>>
It is tough trial for plastic jar.
>>
I dont understand how this is an insult, directly beaming energy into the water to heat it up is sci-fi and cool.
>>
Depends on what they're heating up the water for.
If they're doing it for tea, they'd be doing it wrong because it is harder to bring the water to the right temperature using a microwave than it is using a tea pot or water boiler. If they're doing it for anything else there isn't much wrong.

>tfw Americans can't have kettles because their power grid has such a low voltage.
>Americans have a legitimately inferior power grid which can't boil water for a cuppa.
Why even live?
Do you even know what this is?
