A PROUD MOORISH MAN

B-but muh heritage is German, Irish and Alsatian. I even have blue eyes (but darkish brown hair and I tan easily). My (german) surname actually does come from moor, though.

Charlemagne was a black moor.

Episcopalian
Good man
>>60634213
I'm kinda non-theist, but absolutely adore high anglicanism. Why couldn't it have become the main church in American and the colonies? Instead we got cucked by extreme calvinists and baptists. Luckily I'm from the Lutheran/Catholic upper midwest, so we avoided some of the bullshit.
>>60634210
Yes, we were part of the moorish empire of the east. All of western Europe was governed by black moors.

So you want to get rid of the Germanic religions eh?

Proofs
>>60634443
Meh, I like Lutherans (like pic related) and Catholics are generally fine, and my family is mostly German and has a lot of both. Calvinists, on the other hand, are a big part of what's wrong with American culture (and Andrew Jackson did a lot of that too).
>>60634570
Can you really tell the difference between the various protestant sects and also the catholics and prots?
>>60634695
Yes absolutely. It's most obvious in the style of worship.
Episcopalians and Catholics are super close in liturgy.
Lutherans have a watered down version of catholic liturgy (at least the church I was raised in).
Baptists will just have an hour long sermon with some music thrown in.
Pentecostals have absolute madness (speaking in tongues, dancing, weird music, snake handling)
There's more to it than this but usually the differences are pretty obvious.
>>60634770
Do you have a preference?
Im quite puritan in my beliefs, I don't believe in churches, so I have no preference
>>60634834
If you're really Puritan you'd probably like Baptists or some conservative congregationalists (congregationalists are direct descendants of the original Puritans, but most fell into the liberal as fuck United Church of Christ).
I like Episcopalians the best by far. It's very very liberal (at the church I went to in Colorado, the priest was a lesbian married to a woman, many parishoners were gay, nobody had an issue with non-christians taking eucharist, etc.) but they have a badass traditional liturgy.
