Oddly enough, I can't see anything too major like WW3 happening on the world stage anymore. We could probably see the elimination of the Middle East as terrorism and religious extremism continues to be a thorn in the side for western nations and corporations. Nations like Venezuela, Middle Eastern countries, and various African countries could see total collapse as basing your entire economy on a single export isn't a good strategy for the long run.
As humans continue to move forward in technology and new ideas we could see some countries get left behind and collapse under the pressure of refusing to sway and move with the greater world around them.
But that's just my guess. And that's assuming we don't nuke ourselves when we hit the peak of our ensuing resource crisis.
