I went to Mexico once with a group of friends for 3 months (all college aged was part of study requirement)
A lot of the people there are fatter and more brown than I'd expected. Obesity is out of control for sure.
It was unbearably hot. So hot that you'd stay inside at peak hours.
But by far my worst experience was knocking up a local girl who then went and refused to abort the child.
Had to fucking lie about returning to Mexico after finishing my study before she let me out of her house. She kept me fucking locked up in there for an entire week. It was only 3 blocks from my friend's dorm and the authority did absolutely nothing when my friends told them about it.
The place is a fucking shithole.
