Trying to learn German adjectives.
Have to remember the gender of the noun - okay, a headache, but not too bad.
Have to remember the case of the noun, too - that's really going to slow me down and it's going to take a lot of practice, but it's doable.
Have to remember the inflection of the article before the noun. What the fuck.
4 genders x 4 cases x 3 inflections = 48 fucking possibilities to memorize, and even if I do manage to memorize them, three steps to go through in my head to put an 'easy' sentence together.
This shit is fucking impossible.
Dude why are you learning German. Only good reason is for literature.

Because I can't get my diploma without it and I thought German would be easiest.
>>60508422
had the same problem but i didn't study it and got kicked out of uni. Worth it 2bh

>I thought German would be easiest
You will probably find this amusing

You learned English.
>>60508422
You probably shouldn't be going to college if you dislike learning. Trade school would have been a better choice.

Fuck you, I studied physics and triple minored in math, econ, and chem. I finished all of that, this is the last hurdle.
I don't know it is easy for me
Just try harder
>>60508295
sounds easy 2bh
>>60508926
>triple minor
what a fucking waste of time lmao
>he didn't take a couple of easy Spanish classes and promptly forget it all afterwards
>>60508295
stupid
>>60508926
Fuck you, because I totally believe what you said.
Either way, you're clearly too mentally incompetent to handle a modern liberal arts education if you can't handle entry level German classes.
>>60509542
It's not entry level you fucktard. It's not a class at all. I'm testing out.
>>60509626
Wie lernst du?

Die juden sind leiker

Finished Duolingo, now mostly by reading stuff on ReadLang. I paid for a premium account.

> whenever the word "wegen" drops into a sentence, it always throws that subject into the Genitive case,
Wegen is actually a preposition and what follows after a preposition has to be in the dative or accusative case. So it's "wegen dem Regen" (dative case) and not "wegen des Regens" (genitive case). http://www.belleslettres.eu/artikel/wegen-genitiv-dativ.php explains this in German. Of course lots of people use the genitive case and probably lots of people say it has to be like this.
