so you got Southern oregon, which is comfy as FUCK with all its woods and mountains. Really frendly people, but they wont let you pump your own gas. Then you keep heading north along the 5 and you reach the willammete valley, which sucks ass and makes you wish you lived anywhere that wasnt there. Giant wide open valley with not much too look at and just dirt in every direction. You keep driving through that and you basically just start driving through farmland, until you hit portland, which is cozy as fuck but full of hipsters and liberals. Great for biking though. Expensive as shit. Up norths a giant river spanning the washington/Oregon border.

The coastal highway is comfy as fuck, highly recommend it
