Yes, germanic when they write something that reminds me of english, happens a lot with dutch, sometimes with german and scandie languages. Latin, well, because of reasons.

The fact that everyone knows english,a bastard romance/germanic language,just makes it easier to read easy short sentences in both groups
Romance and Germanic speakers got an obvious advantage in their respective group,especially the romance ones ( spanish,italian e.t.c)
Personally even greek as native language has helped me understand foreign sentences thanks to the common words
