It's hard to make gains because of the lack of energy source but it's really easy to lose weight if don't eat alot during sahur and iftar. Eat eggs , feta cheese and other light but filling stuff so that you won't need food during the day. Also your body will burn surplus fat in your body during the day to fulfill the energy need for the body to function properly.

I do a modified fast where i eat and drink when i'm hungry or thirsty otherwise i feel hungry or slightly less energy.
