Honestly I can't even say which skyline of these is the "best". Like Frankfurt of course looks good but it's small, Seoul is large and dispersed, Taipei is just one top tier building, Makati is kind of bland...

I personally voted Frankfurt, though just because it's AESTHETIC and I wanted at least one European city to go through. Didn't actually expect it to have this many votes.
And despite being Americanesque, it's still visibly European. The contrast between scenic spires and modern towers is unlike any others, so in that sense, it's the most unique skyline there.

In my opinion, more goes into creating a nice skyline than just having as many or as tall towers one can have. The other three may be Asian capitals, but they don't really pack the same "punch", if that makes sense. Not to say they are bad, because I like Taipei, and Seoul and even Manila. I just think Frankfurt looks more composed, in a sense.
There's an objective aspect to this contest, but I also like to think there's a subjective aspect to it too. Which one calls out to you, you know? Anyway, I would usually vote Taipei, but I realize there isn't more to it than the 101. Which is a shame, as I really like the 101.

I can respect that, though I think nature/skyline combos can be hit or miss. I think Hong Kong is an example of this, where on one hand, the nature makes it looks really unique, but on the other, it dwarfs the buildings, giving them less of an impact.
