I've meet none of them
My grandmother's sister was a nun, and lived in Rome for a while. Honestly one of the most nicest, humblest human beings I've ever known. It's a shame she died last year, as she and my grandmother are the only people who I could count on receiving a call from on my birthday.
I've always wondered how there are any young nuns/priests still joining the Catholic Church when the present time isn't one to foster being religous, pious (unless you're a Muslim)

I guess it really depends on the person. Some people join the Church as they're generally good people, and others join to either seek moral highground and to gain something from the position. Same happened to my family, but by my dad's sisters.
My mum's a Catholic and my dad's a Proddy but they both hate Catholic nuns equally.
I hardly ever met any nuns, all church officials/clergy ive ever had encounters with were male, i went to an all boys catholic school and there wasnt a single nun there, all brothers and fathers and no sisters why, would have been nice to have a few nuns around to annoy, all male clergy were hard arses that would hand out detentions like lollies

Also both my uncles were molested by priests at their Catholic school plus one of my aunts when she got sent away to be looked after by the church when she was a kid.
