Vampires aren't part of romanian mythology and Vlad isn't associated with vampires (except for tourism purposes). The closest thing to vampires we have are strigoi, which are red haired living dead who can turn into any animal and eat people. The rest of our mythology revolves around evil spirits, dragons and youngest sons of kings defeating them.
