obviously we're not proud of it (but we're also fairly ignorant on it, too) seriously 99% of english, scottish and welsh people consider irish brotier. when I said we don't consider them foreign I don't mean that in an insulting way, at all. Just like they're "one of us"..

It's actually true.
Ireland is technically not considered a foreign country according to English law. Brexit wouldn't impact the movement of people between the two islands.
