I fucking love beans on toast. I eat at least one plate of beans on toast per week but it is such a VARIED dish that it is impossible to get bored. I will list the last 10 Beans on Toast dishes and you tell me it isn't real food
1. Fishy Beans on Coast, baked beans with tuna flakes served on Seaweed wrapped toast
2. Standard Heinz beans, buttered toast
3. Beans Carbonara, beans marinaded in an egg and cheese sauce with panchetta sprinkles served on toast coated with dry spaghetti bits
4. Tagines on Toast, beans cooked into couscous served on pita toast
5. Ramadans coming' Beans on Toast- One slice toast burnt black to represent nightfall (the Iftar meal) and one slice with a lemon wedge (to represent sunrise, the Suhoor). Beans with sliced up kebab meat
6. Beans on Toast pudding special- Beans with sugar and candied ginger sprinkled in served on banana bread toast with nutella spread over the top
7. Standard Heinz beans, buttered wholeweat toast
8. Beans cooked with curry powder, toast with garlic butter spread on and served with raw Lime wedge for juice
9. 'Power Cut' beans on toast. Cold beans with plain white bread toast and intentionally jellied brown sauce
10. Beans on Toast Lasagna. One slice buttered toast followed by baked beans, another slice of toast, baked beans with cheese, another slice on toast, more beans, another slice of toast topped with more beans and cheese. baked for 40 minutes.

Wholegrain toast = 1 serve of wholegrains = protein & fibre

Beans (if you get Heinz w/ tomato sauce) = 1.5 serves vegies = protein & fibre
Compare it to most modern breakkies, cereal etc. which are essentially sugar, sugar, sugar and highly processed grains you've got your self a good breakfast.
