I'd also add that getting rid of the electoral system would turn the election into a virtual plebiscite. Candidates would not have to campaign from state to state and would only have to buy commercials and publicity from the media. Every rich billionaire and his cousin would start having a presidential bid and buying up national media coverage. Immigration is part of how they are taking away rights. Its great because they can work it from two angles. It puts the local population under immense stress, so when people finally start speaking out about it, they get labeled as hate speech and prime examples as to why everything needs to be more monitored and censored, but when crime goes up they can just wash over the demographics of it and simply call it crime, and use that as justification to build even stronger police forces.
