They are actually, but not for the reasons that /pol/ thinks. Global plutocrats are hollowing out our economies, hoarding wealth as poverty increases and the middle class shrinks, pulling the strings off of our governments, eroding democracy. All the while our governments reactions range from complacency to collaboration as they erode our privacy and fundamental freedoms.
