The right tried to intervine with a coup in 2002 but failed, strengthening the legitimacy of the socialists and allowing the paranoid far-leftists to make more and more radical policies.
Venezuela began slowly morphing into a South American Cuba. Their economy became shit because socialists are retarded with money. Oil prices went down so their economy is now virtually melting away, people have to wait long hours to buy basic goods, etc. The left is struggling to stay in power and is pointing fingers to everyone but themselves, even starting to deport colombians for no apparent reason. The country is in the verge of civil war.
