Yeah, I was harrassed by everyone close to me when I left. My mother told me the correct punishment for leaving Islam is death (if you choose not to recant). But she specified that that's the Sharia, which has to be administered by a perfect Islamic government. Well, more like I never really was. My parents didn't give much of a fuck (kind of like most Germans are "Christian" only when the holidays roll around), I grew up in a good suburb and most of my friends were Germans. I also dislike Erdogan and still prefer Atatürk over all. According to some of my IRL and online friends, this basically makes me into an unicorn.
