I probably have the worst job here.
I work for a low income old folks home in a small town. Basically when someone becomes unable to take care of themselves, their families abandon them here so our care home has become more of a mental hospital considering we take everyone.
I am by profession a Janitor although we're hugely understaffed so I also work as a nurse, cook and general care provider.
Last night a senile old man began crying for hours to me because his children sold the farm land his family had owned for the past 100 years saying the boys were suppose to own it. Today, a woman shit herself in a hall and broke down crying saying she wants to just die already. I of course cleaned it up and helped her. Everyday is something new.
I'm paid $14 Canadian / hour at 50 hour weeks.

if that work starts killing you I'd apply for some CNA positions in a reputable hospital, maybe even in the states, and don't accept any position that offers less than what you're currently making. At least CNAs don't have to take on so many other positions during shifts.
