Sup, anons.
So, simple question:
Why do you guys come to /int/?
What kind of threads do you like to see and take part?
Have you changed how you feel about any particular country since you found out about /int/?
Just a habit.
Just a habit.

I usually participate in generals whose languages I know or want to practise, and my own obviously. I quite enjoy the /voc/ threads whenever they aren't in the full circlejerk mode
>Have you changed how you feel about any particular country since you found out about /int/?
No. Be either good or bad I understand that 4chan can never accurately picture a country or their inhabitants

I think i was googling global discussion forums where you could ask foreigners stuff, at the time I was curious about walloon vs flemish conflict in Belgium.

I don't mind the race thing, I'm a person of color, but I do dislike the generals, fucking hell, they're awful.
>I've started to dislike most countries because of their hostility towards my country
Oh yeah, the whole 'swedens yes!'
It's just banter. Nobody dislikes you or your country. Sweden has one of the highest HDIs.
It is the country everyone else aspires to be like, except for some of the more left-leaning positions your government takes.
>I used to like Finns and Finland before coming here, now I hate them. Germans were alot more smug than I thought, and so are Norwegians
Yeah, but like, /int/ isn't a good representation of what real people are like.

I try to avoid controversy. But sometimes some people(no matter from which country) try to emit their anger insulting and showing their disdain. I often try to identify the cause. stress has its cause and it's international problem

4chan is a contrarian board. If you see posters of one or another country nice people it means that majority of people of that country are assholes, and vise versa. Most of Russians are educated liberals here because majority of Russians are retarded nationalists. Most of Arabs are great posters here because the majority of Arabs are uneducated villagers. The only exclusion are poles, poles are shitty people and shitty posters simultaneously.
>>60104249
Who's that? I only know Sargon who is namefag Assyrian from MENA thread who lives in Germany.

To talk and share banter with people from all over the world. Also not that I come here for it, but I can't deny that I do get a great sense of relief out of seeing how autistic most of you are and how much worse things could be for me.
i come here to talk to people from other countries, cool memes xd and to have fun basically
i like any kind of threads honestly, /int/ is for shitposting, some serious discussion here and there
I especially like /rus/, /balk/ /deutsch/

>What kind of threads do you like to see and take part?
I used to come here a lot for /SvT/, but as it slowly turned into a central for shitposting about '2d > 3d' and neonazi political opinions I shifted my interest to rare flag threads, and some random threads here and there dicussing certain countries.
>Have you changed how you feel about any particular country since you found out about /int/?
It's only made me realize there's more retards than what I thought there'd be in my own country, or just in general.
And it's made me realize how Australians are the kings of banter.
>>60105256

>Why do you guys come to /int/?
Honestly it's become a habit (notice I avoided saying "just a habit" :^) I enjoy 4chan more than other discussion forums because I honestly like the crudeness of it. 4chan also helps building character. I'm mostly a left-winged person and I rarely ever agree with what people discuss on here but I don't mind reading what other people say and have learnt, with all the years here, to not take offence.
>What kind of threads do you like to see and take part?
I enjoy threads about "rare" countries the most (Central Asia are my favourites, especially if the OP is from the country). "What happens here" threads too. Generals of smaller nations like /carib/ are also nice and comfy. I fucking hate /luso/ it's the worst general.
>Have you changed how you feel about any particular country since you found out about /int/?
I've only learned more I think. I don't really take into account how people act on here since I think most people just take advantage of anonymity to shitpost and vent their stress, I know I do sometimes. I really enjoy how stereotypes actually fall because of this too (Russians being the comfiest posters, canada being mostly shit etc). My opinion on Portuguese people has worsened though. I think they're one of the worst flags here and they make me cringe.
>>60111477

>>60111782
No, actually most immigrants are great and integrate well here. I don't believe in multiculturalism in the Swedish sense however, I think there needs to be a set of overarching cultural values that all ethnicities living here accept and abide by.
I hate Islam, but that's different from hating all Muslims.
>>60111914
No
why does it matter so much to you if I'm white or not?
i'm not going to rape, or steal, or anything like that.
i'm a law abiding citizen, why should the color of my skin matter?
>>60111943
That's actually pretty sensible :3

Threads about history, culture, etc. Threads where I can ask people questions. And threads with qts, I like talking about qts. I like to participate in feels threads.
>Have you changed how you feel about any particular country since you found out about /int/?
The Israelis here have confirmed all my stereotypes about the country, and that isnt a good thing
>>60112009
That's also true. All European countries have traditonally been ethno-states at war with one another and the outside world since time immemorial. It's insanity to think the melting pots you see in the New World could be recreated there. Europe's leaders have made many mistakes, and future generations will pay (in blood).

There are a few of "us" but I think most just prefer not to bring it up considering the majority here. At least I can't be assed. Also I'm not a heavily political person. I honestly have no idea which side (or mix, or whatever) is actually better. I just think my views tend more to the left. I'm rather suspicious of politics be it right or left.
Not sure if I make sense.
>>60113973
Would you be okay if I were to move to Portugal in the future?
>>60114228
Yep. Although I wouldn't recommend it.
Everyone under 30 is moving out somewhere else (including me :o) )
It's a nice place to retire or bring up your kids, but terrible for starting your life.
>>60114340
>(including me :o) )
I heard about the portuguese leaving the country. Where would you like to go?
>but terrible for starting your life.
Can't be worse than fucking Brazil, I tell you. And with all the people moving out, I guess soon you'll need some outsiders.
>>60114435
I'm going back to England, where I was born (lived there til i was 10 too).
>Can't be worse than fucking Brazil
I've lived in BR (my mum's BR). It was nice but that was nearly 10 years ago. It's a pity your country can't resolve it's criminality/corruption problem. Portugal is bad in the sense that the country is completely stagnated. Nearly all my friends have left or are leaving the country. Those that haven't are working in callcenters, as receptionists and simple office work for very little pay. We're talking about people with Uni degrees here and who all finished uni with great results. But there just isn't any offer. Old people are clogging up everything and we're pretty much left with crappy jobs. Even mentioning starting something up will have you end up with spit on your face from people laughing at the idea.
I like this country (i don't love it) and have slowly learnt to accept it as probably the closest thing to a "home country"... but it really needs some fresh air. Honestly if it weren't for the economy it would be one of the best countries in the world.
>>60114867
>I'm going back to England, where I was born (lived there til i was 10 too)
Oh man, that's great! Lucky too, the UK is great!
Why did you move to Portugal, tho?
>but it really needs some fresh air
Yeah, it does seem like that...
But what happened, tho?
What went wrong? Was it the 2008 crisis?
>>60114977
>Why did you move to Portugal, tho?
My dad is Portuguese. We went to BR after leaving the UK and lived there roughly 2 years but, long story short, my mum thought it was too dangerous to bring up 3 kids over there (we had some problems). So they decided to move to Portugal (considering it's where my father's family lives).
>But what happened, tho?
What went wrong? Was it the 2008 crisis?
I'm not the most cultured person regarding economics and stuff (and I've only recently developed more of an interest for Portugal and it's politics/problems) but very basically put Portugal was pretty poor throughout the dictatorship period. When it fell things were also rough. Throughout the 20th century people already emigrated a lot (most went to France or the UK, some even to BR). Only when Portugal entered the EU did things get a little better - there was a boom in construction and stuff and people were excited as the country grew. But then came the 2008 crisis and woopty woop. Pretty much like the rest of the world.
>>60115664
That's harsh! I hope you can get a good thing going on the UK.
>>60115770
Thanks, I wish you luck with whatever the furure brings you too anon. Have a nice day.
I like the international bantz, seeing how genetics play out like in all the qt threads, and I like seeing if different countries have different personalities.
