My family prepares a nice big meal every Sunday, usually a roast, steak, ribs, etc. and we all sit down to eat and talk about the week. Me and my siblings all live on our own but we all go home every Sunday for dinner. It's great homemade food and bonding. We've done it since we were little.
I'm home right now, we're about to sit down for ribs, brussel sprouts, asparagus, tomato salad, and some homemade chips and guac.
