Will cemeteries end eventually? To me it's obvious that we can't both keep on burying people in this manner and keep the old graves there. At some point we will have to stop burying people, or replace the old ones with new.
Thoughts?

Thats a common practice
have you heard about vertical graveyards?

We should organize horse race on them, with betting and all desu senpai.

Graves are typically a hundred years claim, here.
no, they take old ones and put them deep in catacombs and put the new ones in the field so the relatives could visit after a century they move those underground so new ones have more room

Graveyards get abandoned all the time. You might have a 300 year old graveyard under your house right now
>replace the old with new
That's been happening for hundreds of years anon

We must go vertical.

Really? Well, not here at least. I mean the part of Norway where I live. Or well, perhaps, I don't see any viking graves here... maybe you've got a point.

I just came up with it without past references
I could have been inventor...

We have that here.
A family can own a tomb, the coffins are laid vertically seperated by stone slabs.
So you could be burried above your dad.

Cool, but I was thinking about these futuristic super mega skyscraper structures.
