I mean. It seems cool in theory. It's a rich, multilingual city-state with lots of industry, strict laws, modern architecture and cool shit liker hawker centers.
But then you look a little deeper, and realise that it's not as great as you'd first imagined. It's essentially a one-party state with worse press-freedom than Russia or Turkey. The climate is horrible. It gets hotter than thirty degrees pretty much every single day, and there are no seasons! And owning a vehicle is prohibitively expensive, too. And even if you did own one, you wouldn't be able to drive it anywhere because the entire country is just one big city.

Shenzhen is shit in most ways except for having a nice beach nearby.
The only thing I know about Singapore is that we had a tourist over there in the 90s or something that made the news because he got publicly reprimanded by the govt. They split his backside open with a cane for spitting gum in the street or something. Seems like a cool place desu. Cool and with streets free of chewing gum.
