How come there are still BRs that support this government, it became clear the intent to literally disrupt any investigation towards the politicians involved and to clearly sell their oil towards foreign companies. Are BRs here this delusional to support this government without any consequences? Do you guys want corrupts in office because just they aren't "commies" and pro-globalism?
>According to the newspaper, after Mr. Machado said prosecutors were trying to use him to get to Mr. Jucá and others, the then-Senator responded in the recording that a political solution was necessary and that Ms. Rousseff had to be impeached, because a new government was needed to “stop the bleeding” caused by the so-called Car Wash corruption probe.

Everyone knew the corrupt crooks would try to use the impeachment in their favour.
That still doesn't make it a coup.
The impeachment was perfectly legal and the vast majority of people supported it.
What's happening is that the corrupt crooks are throwing their own friends under the bus to try to save themselves so in the end it's just a net gain in the combat against corruption, what you are seeing is a cornered animal doing a last-ditch effort to survive.
>>
>>59866462

Come on, we know it was a "coup". It was a motion of no confidence given by the congress. Something inherently linked to Parliamentarism (that's why we saw so many senators talking about it), but not to Presidentialism.

Impeachment is basically a motion of no confidence anyway, just requiring a lot more votes than in the parliamentarism. Anyone can submit the process and it's very hard to not incur in any administrative violation (which the worker's party used for every president), and it's a judgement by politicians.

I only wish when the reelection law was created they updated the impeachment law, it would be much more pleasant for everyone if this impeachment officially included 2014.

Those who are against the impeachment would naturally question everything include it's legality. The first and only impeached president also claimed it was a coup. And then he voted in favor of Dilma's impeachment with a discourse of "I warned you, I warned about the impeachment".

>Also, how does this make Temer's corrupt cabinet better?
It doesn't. Although Dilma had 19 investigated ministers, 6 when she finished her mandate, while Temer now has 2 investigated plus 1 just fired and 4 mentioned in car wash but not investigated.
>>
>>59867464

>>
>>59867496
>he didn't cover him

When did WP cover their corrupt people?

All Temer has done is make the only choice he could. The case is blatantly obvious corruption.

Petrobras was not just WP. It was the whole government and many of the parties.
Prosecutors didn't even accuse anyone until 2015, and no BLATANTLY OBVIOUS corruption was presented to the public.

It's like the Republicans claiming Clinton should be dropped for corruption with her email scandal. Yes, there can be more corruption that is not seen, but the public isn't allowed to see it until the investigation is over.

Hence why WP, and the Democrats haven't dropped their support for their accused politicians.

You are making a false equivalence.

It's not cleaner in any way
It's just supposedly more eficient than the latter due time constraints and vast legislative support in such a way that it becomes so much easier to kick in the important kinds of economic reforms we are in desperate need for right now. Wether this is*actually* gonna happen and in which degree this is a talk for another time, but the initial point stands.

Last government not only drove us to such dramatic deficit but lost itself all the way through the political chess. Had Dilma survived the impeachment process, the country would've remained in prolongued catarsis as result.

You foreigners are trully clueless.
>>
>>59867772
Where was the evidence of BLATANT CORRUPTION?

The prosecutors announced investigations, but they don't release evidence until later.
WP dropped support for the politicians that were shown by evidence to be corrupt. WP isn't retarded.
The evidence here was announced by a private newsgroup. Not prosecutors.

Which is hilarious considering it shows either bias by the prosecutors in missing Temer's right hand man, or incompetence.

Was Lula arrested? Or is it all a political attack by right wingers?

Answering my own rethorical question, yes the dude was very influential and his fall now serves as fuel for strong PCDoB / PT charges aggainst the interim government but his absence in the political field is in no way turning out to massive legislative scurry, as the ongoing plenary's session clearly demonstrates. Gilmar Mendes literally has just put away Aécio's investigation as soon as Temer got to power, while he didn't even hesitate to stop Lula becoming minister, he is clearly biased. Also one minister opinion doesn't count as the whole judiciary opinion. Also m8, if you think literally saying word by word "We need to stop Lava-Jato to save ourselves" isn't obstruction of justice, but saying "I can help Delcídio's family" is. You clearly doesn't follow reason

>Gilmar Mendes literally has just put away Aécio's investigation as soon as Temer got to power,
Except it was completely unrelated to Temer. When Teori Zavascky accepted the request from Janot, he decided since Furnas isn't related to Petrobras (like he did before with Eletrobras and Nuclebras) it was out of the scope of car wash. Then it was randomly selected a minister and he got Gilmar Mendes who is and has always been a protector of PSDB and a lot of other associated corrupt politicians.

Lesson of the day: Everyone is corrupt in Brazil, even the ones going after the corrupt officials. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know once you get a less socialist leaning dictator, it will be easier to invest in Brazil. All bets are on.

shit, but you soon feel that too, and I am not saying about Temer losing presidency too, but austerity measures that will literally throw our country back to 1980s, will destroy our international prestige, will literally sell everything that brazilians forgot that it was important and in the end the people will do just like greece and vote for those that gave them rights in the first place, but heck why that matters, our government isn't commie anymore!! HAHAHAHAH I AM SO HAPPY!!! MY MISERY HAS BEEN PUT DOWN HAHAHAHAHAHA DEATH TO COMMIES NOT MATTERING THE PRICE
