Yes. As much as they can, but there isn't actually a lot to know about because Spaniards burned down amerindian codixes (I don't hate Spaniards if anyone needs to know).
I don't know any language, but there are lots of lowanwords from Nahuatl and various other languages. Mostly food, fruits, animals, or things that didn't existed in the old world.
For instance: Chocolate, avocado (from Spanish aguacate that came form Nahuatl āhuacatl), Tomato (Tomae/Jitomate in Spanish and Tomatl in Nahuatl), etc.
It's also pretty common here to call uneducated childern 'escuincles', from nahualt 'itzcuintli' (dog). Similar to Xoloitzcuintle? The dog?. And I don't know, some others.

Yes, it's part of the History class, and I guess it takes roughly 1/3 of the entire history curricula.

There must be a hundred different autochthonic groups on the territory of Mexico so I don't know much about languages and cultures, except the Maya and Aztec, but I did devote some time to learn about Quechua (II-C) languages. It's fascinating stuff
