The earthquake happened in eastern Japan in 2011 didn't affect to highways in Tokyo so much, but the earthquake happened in Kobe region in middle of 90s gave significant damage to highways. Pic is related.
Tokyo highway became a water slider because of a massive snow fall in 2014.
