Just go into a chippy and bring a mars bar. Ask them to do it for you, for a euro, and get a bag of chips as well.
Did it once -- it was actually quite nice, but I didn't want to get into the habit of it as it's a quick road to diabetes and heart disease.

Had deep-friend white pudding before. It's actually not as good as regular sliced and friend white pudding. The oil doesn't penetrate the pudding, and it leaves it a bit crap. It ends up kind of steaming within a batter casing.
Maybe if you pre-fried the white/black pudding.
