Sardinia was pretty cool, all them laid back southern Italy vibes with their own twist. Went to Alghero and Cagliari. Met the cutest, green eyed and olive skinned girl ever in Alghero.

The Baleares are the second worst heat I've ever experienced after visiting Agrigento in Sicily with 44 °C in the shade. I'm from Northern Italy and 35 °C days aren't that uncommon in the summer, but the heat there was almost unbearable.
Both are still worth visiting (Baleares and Sicily), in spite of the heat.
