The Baleares are the second worst heat I've ever experienced after visiting Agrigento in Sicily with 44 °C in the shade. I'm from Northern Italy and 35 °C days aren't that uncommon in the summer, but the heat there was almost unbearable.
Both are still worth visiting (Baleares and Sicily), in spite of the heat.
