According to some article on the internet, they come from Switzerland and the Netherlands. Then because of persecution in the Netherlans and todays Germany, some of them run to Poland, more precisely ot the delta of the Vistula river. These terrains havent been used (wetlands) and new workers were welcomed. Those places usually weren't populated, because of floods, so they rearranged those areas where they used to live.
