No. I personally know someone who was on antidepressants and a slew of other medication and going to college. His parents also have two younger children. They refused to feed him, withheld medication from him, and ultimately ended up kicking him out. They gave adequate care to the two children they were legally obligated to provide care for. Kicking your child out at 18 is not reflective of the child's failure. It's reflective of yours as a parent. You're responsible for where they are, if they're drug addicts, if they have mental issues, if they were never properly taught how to function in real life.
