It is fun for a bit but I got bored. bourbon street blows desu. they have these "ghost" tours that dont even let you into the buildings and charge ludicrous money. cafe du monde is fucking cash tho. people are ok but i find the city to be quite "dirty". the character is there but that only goes so far

Yeah, I'd probably wouldn't live there. At leas no more than 3 months in year or something. But the French Quarter is a fucking postcard m8. Very very pretty.
And the people of the city are yo fucking chill. They don't seem to have a worry in this world. They'd stop and talk to you, they really go out of their way to help you. Northern cities are pristine, but the people are fucking stuck up.
And the food. Jeeeeeesus Christ. I'd literally pay $50 if I could get a NOLA po-boy right now.
